Doesn't Everyone Want a Bit of Fairytale Love?

Doesn't everyone want a bit of fairytale love? Something we read about as children. The kind of love that only existed in fairy tales. Is that the kind of love we want or are we more of a love the one you are with kind of people now.

In this modern fast paced age of technology and social websites we have become ever increasingly open to change. This change has broadened our perspective on life. We no longer want to find love, settle down and marry the first person. This may have been the case many a year ago, but nowadays we look into people's lives without judgmental eyes.

We are more accepting to life and it's ever changing status. We no longer seek the fairytale love we hear in fairy tales such as Snow White, and Cinderella. Many women may feel like Cinderella these days however with more chores and less time to do them. Their men very rarely take them out and when they do they don't make a huge deal out of it.

But is this the way we live now or should we reject this notion and go back to the ideal of fairy tales. At some point during life we all hope to meet our prince charming or Cinderella depending on what sex we are. But if we do meet them would it really be the fairytale we so hoped it would be? Does the happy ever after ending really exist?

Perhaps it is becoming more evident in life that we work hard at our relationships. Maybe it is naive of us to expect life to be simple and uncomplicated. Life is unexpected and the consequences of our actions don't just disappear like in the fairy tales. If we meet our soul mate is there any way we can just be happy together. Or does it like anything in reality take some work to get it right?

The answers to all these questions lie in the days of your lives. Everything is unwritten and the more we live the more that is unwritten about us. When will we get married? When we will have our first child? All answers to life are unknown and it is best that way. Knowing everything will be happy ever after may give us peace of mind but it does not allow us to live. Living is being alive and to live life to the full we need to live on the edge for a little longer yet.
