Diets and other Misinformation

One look at the world today and it is easy to see that there is a lot of misinformation in many things. It is no surprise at all that when new things appear in the form of new ideas, new inventions in diets, medicines or even in politics, somewhere along the way something has happened and they failed to fulfill their promises...Usually this happens because of two things:greediness and lack of honest intentions. You see, sometimes things don't have to be so complicated and problems could be solved if we were honest.
The truth is that there is no magic pill to solve problems, call them weight loss, health, political system and etc.The solution comes only with honest effort and of course not looking for the easy way.But people always get distracted from easy wrong solutions. There lie all the sources of our problems.Fortunately for us,there are still people who really care about the others and put making money second.
Going to one of the problems of the modern man( how to lose fat),I wonder why is still so difficult to lose weight and sustain an ideal body weight permanent. Is it because of lack of exercise, is it because of lack of a balanced nutrition plan,is it lack of time, is it just lack of will power? While reasons they can be thousand of reasons, the biggest problem lies in the misinformation and regular use of processed, unhealthy foods. These foods contain many additives, sugar, salt and other unhealthy ingredients. They are so insufficient in vitamins, minerals and nutrients that in clear definition are what I call ''empty foods''.
It is so disappointing when famous and respectable personalities usually from sports, star in tv commercials, promoting cookies, ice creams,or chips instead of promoting something healthy(e.x.apples).For the love of money they prefer to send the wrong messages to their viewers and lose any hard-earned respect. It is a very misleading and manipulative way to promote unhealthy foods. This is the kind of misinformation we get every day.One advice that I will highly recommend is this: shut down or mute TV during commercials,I think not a bad advice at all.
Many weight loss plans deliberately fail in the long term. They are constructed to create permanent customers by giving them temporary solutions.Without any serious information about nutrition, they offer a range of foods to choose from(usually very expensive), that makes everybody hate dieting. As a result, people always get back to their previous eating habits and regain any pounds lost.As the misinformation continues everywhere, victims will also continue to fall for it.So i think all the things i have mentioned above are like a waking up call for everybody to hear.
